"Mom... What are you doing here?"
"I did some thinking and I realized I couldn't miss my daughter's wedding... No matter how much I despise the groom, but I see it's too late."
"It's not too late, Mom. You can stay for the reception."
“I'd love that.”
Edvin and Stormie went home to change into something a bit more comfortable with the reception. They sat down across from Mrs. Wise
"Edvin, I'm going to give you a chance, but you better treat my daughter right because the first sign of trouble, I'm going to make sure she annuls your marriage, not divorce but annul. Do you understand?'
"Perfectly, Mrs. Wise."
“Good. I'm keeping an eye on you.”
Edvin and Stormie had their first dance as husband and wife when Connor asked to interrupt. Edvin graciously accepted.
"You know, I never thought you'd get married. Even if it a marriage of convenience."
"Tread lightly, lad. Edvin's already not happy you married us."
“Aww. Is he jealous?”
“Of you? Never. Nothing there to be jealous of,” Stormie shot back.
Connor faked being hurt. "Ouch! Break my heart why don't you?" Stormie smiled and excused herself to go find her husband.
"Darling, I was thinking that we should go to Hawaii for our honeymoon."
“Hawaii it is then.”
