Spring opened the refrigerator door and grabbed a water bottle. "Stay away from the computer, they said. Easier said than done! Gaaah! I'm so frustrated that I want to throw something. It isn't fair at all."
Sighing, Spring took out her phone and sent a quick text to Trisha.
Spring: I wanted to say thanks for everything.
Trisha: It's no problem. I know it's frustrating right now, but everything is going to be alright, and I'm always here for you.
Spring: Do you want to hang out tomorrow?
Trisha: I'm sorry I can't. I have something I need to do.
Spring: Bummer. Hey, Trisha? I'm glad we met.
Trisha: Me too, Spring. Me, too. :)
"Eww.. your name is Spring? Such an ugly name. I feel so bad for you. Your parents must hate you!"
“Get lost, Pilgrim!”
"Pfft, and you made fun of my name?"
"I'm Trisha, and for what's it worth, I think your name is beautiful."
“Th- thank you.”
Snap out of it, Spring. Trisha has never liked you in that way and never will.
Spring's phone buzzed again.
Unknown: It's been a while. Shall we talk?
Spring: Who is this?
Unknown: Have you forgotten about me already?
Spring: I don't even know who you are??!!!
Unknown: Don't worry, you'll know soon enough
Spring sighed and put her phone on the charger. Thanksgiving was coming up, and it looked like it was going to be a lonely one.
The next day there was a knock on the door. "Trisha! I thought you'd be busy tonight.
"I canceled them. I'd rather hang out with you. Unless you want me to leave- "
"No, stay. I mean, please?"
Trisha smiled. “Hey, Spring?”
“If I- never mind:”
"No, what's up? You look as though something is on your mind."
“Honestly, I'm a little confused. “
"I like guys, but you see. I think I may be bi because I'm starting to like this girl.. "
“Really? Who is the lucky girl?”
“I want to kiss you, but I won't do that unless you want me, too.”
“Trisha... I'm sorry I don't feel that way about you!”
"You're lying! I see the way you look at me."
“So what? I think you should leave, Trisha.”
"I'll leave, but I'm not giving up, and I apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable in any shape or form. Goodbye, Spring."
