“Hey, baby, where are you going?”
“Don't call me baby, and I have to get home for dinner.”
"That's right. Master wouldn't let it slide if you're late, would he?"
“Let go of me.”
“Why should I do that?”
"What's your name, darling?"
“Why should I tell you that?”
“Because if you don't, I'll be your worst nightmare!”
"Hey, let go of her. You have five seconds. Carmen, are you okay?"
“Let's go home. Now!”
Once they got in, Master pushed Carmen down. “Master?”
“What the hell were you doing?”
“You disobeyed me!” Master grabbed Carmen's face. “Don't ever do that again.”
Pumpkin's boyfriend shut off the movie. “That's it? That's how the story ends?”
“What's wrong with it?”
“It feels unfinished. I mean, what happens to Carmen?”
"Oh, Pumpkin, you are adorable, you know that?" Pumpkin blushed.
"Um... Thanks? I'm a little surprised, though, Denver. "
“I didn't take you for these types of movies?”
'Oh, I like them, but I like you even more."
“That's smooth. Oh no. I should get started on the turkey.”
“Let help with that.”
“No, it's okay. Really. I'm fine.”
Denver kissed her cheek before leaving. I think I'm falling in love! He thought to himself as he walked. I need to tell Houston. But. What if he doesn't want to see me? Denver stopped to listen at the door.
“Houston, I don't understand. I thought we were fine?”
“I'm sorry, Rex, but we are not right for each other.”
“You should go.”
Rex walked past Denver without saying hello or goodbye. “Was that Rex that I just saw leaving?”
“Yeah, we broke up.”
“Oh, not again.”
“You have something to say, say it.”
“Are you ever going to settle down?”
“When I find the right guy?”
“What if Rex is that guy?”
“So? You know how much I hate the clingy type!”
“You're scared because you're in love with him.”
“No, no. I'm not. Anyway, how are things with you and Pumpkin?”
