Jake knocked on Benson's door. He was so nervous. “Hi, Jake. Benson has been talking nonstop about you.”
Kent smiled. "Come in. Ben, your boyfriend is here! Benson and Jake blushed.
“Thanks, Dad, but I'll take it from here. Sorry about my dad. That's so embarrassing. Anyway, what are you doing here?”
“A little birdie might have told me it was your birthday. So, I thought I would bring you hot chocolate and a gift?”
“Um, thanks? Can I open it now?”
Benson unwrapped his gift. A watercolor book. "Jake, this is beautiful, but I don't paint anymore, you know?"
“I know, and I think it's high time you start again. I've seen some of your work, Benson. You're good.”
“Do you think so?”
“I know so,” Jake smiled.
“I guess I should get going.”
“Don't go. Stay.”
“Are you sure?”
Benson nodded and smiled.
“Paint for me,” Jake grinned.
