Kent opened the door to Belinda and Clover. "Oh, you two made it. Clover, I can assure that you'll be very happy here."
"What about my studies? I mean, not that I'm ungrateful... It's just that I thought my studies were important."
"They are. You'll study as usual of course, but I'll be your instructor along with another tutor. We don't want you missing out on an education. You must take this and your whole eduction seriously, Clover," Kent warned.
Belinda sighed. "Listen, Advisor. I know you don't want to be here. but I assure you that you are in good hands with Melody and Kent, okay?"
"Fine. I guess I don't have a choice, do I?"
Once Clover was settled in, she sent Belinda a text. It took her a while to respond, but once she did, Clover was happy.
Clover: Are you okay?
Belinda: I should be the one asking you that.
Clover: I miss you. I'm not going to lie. I'm still a little ticked, but I also understand why I need to be here. I just wish it wasn't that way.
Belinda: I'm sorry. I hate myself for not protecting you more.
Clover: I should learn not to go looking for danger.
Belinda: You can't help it. It's part of your charm-
When the text sent itself half-written,that's when Clover knew something was up,
Back in Belinda's office, Shawn Paul cleared his throat. "You and I have some unfinished business, Belinda."
"I'll do whatever you want, but you must leave my students alone."
As Shawn Paul dragged Belinda by the hair of her head, Belinda screamed. Where was he taking her? What was he going to do to her?
“What are you going to do to me?”
"Oh, I'm going to have so much fun with you, and the best part? I get you all to myself," Shawn Paul laughed.
"You're confident. Well, you know what I'm confident in? I'm confident in my friends. They're going to find me and rescue me."
"Don't count on it. Jeanie doesn't have her vision to find you."
“What did you do?”
"Oh, just a little something to make sure you're never found. Your precious Clover will be devastated of course. I'll work on her next, though."
“You leave her alone!”
Belinda scanned the room. She stopped dead in her tracks when he noticed a dentist chair sitting in the middle of the living room. "Ah, I was wondering when you were going to notice. Do you like? She's a beaut, isn't she? Have a seat. Just relax and our fun will soon begin,."
“Do you have a fear of needles?”
Belinda looked away, but Shawn Paul grabbed her face, forcing her to look at him. "I take it to you. This is going to be more fun than I thought." Belinda screamed as Shawn Paul stabbed the needle in her arm. The needle knocked Belinda out right away.
When Belinda came to, she saw groggy and confused but not confused enough to notice Shawn Paul holding her hand. “What did you do?”
"Oh, just a little experiment."
"Oh calm down. I only messed with your mind, Belinda."
"I can't. You'll just have to take my word for it. Here," Shawn Paul handed Belinda water bottle. "Go on drink it. It's not poisonous, I swear."
Once he was sure Belinda was sleeping again, he rifled through her stuff and brought her phone out. He knew just what to do.
Belinda: I'm sorry, Clover. I just can't do this anymore. We should stay apart for a while.
Clover: Whoever has Belinda's phone, stop playing this game.
Belinda: You're next!
Clover dropped her phone and ran right to Kent to show him her phone. “We're going to get to the bottom of this,” Kent promised Clover.
